Responding to the challenge of time, NPP ITELMA has created a national system of emergency response to accidents — ERA-GLONASS. We were the first to develop, certify and launch a series of platform solutions for cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses.
The ERA system can also be used as a telematic unit for vehicle monitoring, remote diagnostics of vehicle condition and smart insurance, including providing insurance payments under the Europrotocol. We constantly improve our telematics systems and provide them with new features to maximize the use of the possibilities of the connected car.
Our driver assistance system is an effective solution for passenger and commercial vehicles in the conditions of urban traffic. This hardware and information complex solves both tactical tasks of preventing local accidents and strategic tasks of excluding the possibility of committing an accident. In fact, this is a transitional solution from manned transport to unmanned, which allows you to operate cars at a new level of safety.
In the range of software and hardware driver assistance systems developed by us we use high-resolution digital video cameras and 77 GHz radars as sensors. Based on the information received from the sensors, the system either warns the driver about danger, or takes control of the car, and allows to prevent accidents. These solutions allowed us to build a safety system for Moscow city buses.
